Winston's Mum here!! Yes you read right... his Mum!

Today is a special day. Today Winston turns 10!

I thought I would do the post today as we celebrate a decade of Winston Wilbur!

Chains Required

Hello everypuggy,

Winston heres.
My BFF, Dickens, is staying over for the weekend. His peeps left for Vegas on Friday.

Good things they left when they dids.
This is what we woke up to on Saturday!

We headed to our usual hangout for a walk.

Brrrrrr it was chilly.  The snow was really hard and crunchy to walks on. It froze over so it was likes walking on glass. The wind flapped our ears arounds too!

After a short distance, we couldn't handle the sharp snow anymores.

Mum bundled us ups into the pugmobile.

the snow is turning to ice! Better chain up Mum!

We stop to ponder chaining ups. I hope Mum has enough chains for each wheel!

Brrr this wind chill is bone chilling!

Looks at this landscape!   Forget the walk... skip putting the chains on... let's just gets back in the car!

While we now lounge all warm and cozy at homes, I leaves you with a short video from earlier.

My Christmas Cards... and the Valentine's Card Exchange

Hi Everypuggy,

Winston heres.

I thought I would post a picture of me with all the cards I gots for Christmas from all my blogging friends.

We did a Christmas Card exchange and it was so much funs getting all the cards each day in the mails.

Here I am with all my cards! Thank You!

Just for the records here... I gots more cards, this year , than Mum did!

This now brings me to the announcement

of  the Valentine's Day Card Exchange.

If you are interested in pawticipating please email me your name and address thesmilingpug@shaw.ca. Once I get all the addresses together I will have my secretary (Mum) email you the list of pawticipants.


The cut off day HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO Saturday January 21th 8pm PST. 

I needs to have all the names collected by then to allow peeps to have time to get their cards done and in the mails.

Ringing in 2012... Polar Pug style

Happy New Years everypuggy,

Winston heres to tell you how I rung in 2012!

Mum spent weeks organizing a new event for our pug group. It was called Polar Pugs.
She even mades this cool little logo thingy for its

Anyways us pugs and our peeps gathered on January 1st at our usual off leash meeting place. Mum broughts a table and served coffee and Tim Bits. Lots of pugs cames and we had such a blast.

It was such a success, with over 15 pugs, that this will probably be an annual events for us.
