Who is Smiling Pug?

- "I am a happy pug therefore.... I am a smiling pug"! My mum is called Smilingpug... after me! Because of her love of animals and nature, she is a Buddhist and a vegetarian (thank god). She is most inspired by the Dalai Lama. We live on the West Coast of Canada and I share my home with my two older feline sisters Tika and Kizzy and my NEW little brother Sam Cooper who... is all the way from MidSouth Pug Rescue in Tennessee!! I am 11 and I don't walk to well anymore, but that doesn't mean I don't get around! Welcome to my blog.

Pet Therapy Day
Mum got an email from Dickens' human, Walt, asking if I would like to go with Dickens to the Pet Therapy Day where Dickens' mum works. I was all over it and got very excited upon hearing this. We had a nice afternoon visiting the folks there. Walt got a bit stressed when I ventured into an open elevator and had the doors close behind me. I barked and barked in my high pitched "hey I am in here" bark until I was located. I was released from the elevator without further incident and not a care in the world. Here are some of the pics from that day.
Update from the "repair shop". Remember my broken steps?
Do you all remember my incident with my broken steps? Well here they are! Mum managed to take them to her wood shop and fix them up like new. She also made some minor alterations by sanding away the old stain and re-staining them. I am such a lucky pug to have been able to have the steps repaired. Here is a picture of them in the "repair shop". Mum has really reinforced them good with lots of wood glue. They are super secure now!

Woowhoo! Pug Sleep Over!!
Dickens and I have had 2 separate sleepovers at my place. We had so much fun, it was so nice to have a balance of two cats and two pugs in the house. We played, and snacked and played some more. We lounged and watched tv and slept on the bed. We walked the BCIT trail, then snacked again. It was wonderful. Two paws up for more pug sleep overs!
