Who is Smiling Pug?

My photo
Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada
"I am a happy pug therefore.... I am a smiling pug"! My mum is called Smilingpug... after me! Because of her love of animals and nature, she is a Buddhist and a vegetarian (thank god). She is most inspired by the Dalai Lama. We live on the West Coast of Canada and I share my home with my two older feline sisters Tika and Kizzy and my NEW little brother Sam Cooper who... is all the way from MidSouth Pug Rescue in Tennessee!! I am 11 and I don't walk to well anymore, but that doesn't mean I don't get around! Welcome to my blog.

A World Wide Moment with the Green Stubby Report

Hello everypuggy,

Winston heres. First befores we gets into our monthly Green Stubby Reports, we would like to do a quick posts abouts the World Wide Moment.

Ok now on to our Green Stubby Report.

This month Mum wants to posts about Environmentally Friendly take out containers.
(mmmmm I luvs take outs)

One of our favourite restaurants in Burnaby is Bombay Behl.

Mum went theres the other day and ordered too much foods she had to brings it home.
Mum was totally happy with this as the take home containers are very earth friendly.

Here are whats they looks like.
(please ignores the food stains on the edges!)

Because of the great take away containers, Mum always chooses this restaurant over others in our area. She likes that they cares about our earth...... just like we do!

I thinks that Stubby would approves.... don't yous?

Now..... we may be a little slow on commenting on your blogs this next month. We are getting super busy with the holidays comings.

On that notes.... the girls are out front surveying the area for the Christmas light decorating.
They are discussing how to decorates this years. Mum says we are going totally all out!
Tomorrow we put up the lights!

I thinks that this year I will let the girls help with the lights. It is to wets and cold. I would rather cozy down on the couch watching TV.

Peace outs
Winston Wilburs

  2. Hello my Winston! Oh we like the new stubby report. Mom told dad about the reusable veggie bags you did in a prior report and asked him to get those for xmas hee hee! I went to Pugs-giving yesterday and Mom totally forgot the camera! Ugh I have no pictures to share with you. I did miss you but I know you are busy holiday planning.

    Hugs,

  3. Hi Winston! Great post as usual! Those containers are really cool. I love how they are made from biodegradeable, renewable resources. Did the containers say exactly what they are made from? I'm just curious.

Mom never has leftovers when she goes out to eat. Can you believe it? She never brings anything home for me.

Have you heard about TakeOutWithOut? I was going to do a post about it earlier this year but never got around to it. It's a movement to bring your own take out containers with you when you eat out. It's also about refusing unnecessary stuff when you get carryout like napkins, plastic utensils, etc. The idea is to truly reduce waste. Check it out at www.takeoutwithout.org and let me know what you think.

    Thanks for keeping it green!

    Stubby xoxo

Pee-s: Mom said that restaurant looks delicious and that she has to get her butt up to Burnaby!
