Super Tired Pug!

Hello everypuggy. Today we are soooo tireds. I gots back from Seattle late last nights. For those who don't know, we went down to America to the Pug N Brew Seattle Pug Rescue fundraiser event with my luvs and her sister.

I gots to stay in hotels and boy did I have funs! Mum said I was so hyper that nights. I was tearing down the hotel hallway and running around the room playing with my toys. I gots to sleep on a big fluffy bed with Mum. Mum hads to put a stool beside the beds so I could get up on the bed BOL.

After the border, we stopped at Barnes & Noble to gets coffee and of course Mum had to looks at the books!!

I was not happy when I found outs that Mum forgots to pack my treats! This is what my face looked likes when she told me the bad news.

So when we gots to the Hotel, we unloaded our bags then went back outs to Petsmart. We met Tuni and Sequoia theres and we went shoppings. Looks at this huge tub of liver treats Mum scored!!! You can't gets this in Canada and the price was amazings. Mum luvs the Petsmarts in America!

Mum grabbed dinner than we went back to hotels to settle ins.

Mum..... call me some room service now. Let's stay here in Daisy style.

Lounging watching TV

in the morning Mum opened the curtains and I felt the need to bark at every single person that I could see from the window. We looked onto the parking lot and many of the guests were loading up their cars. Well I had to growl and bark at each one until Mum closed the curtains again!

We then went off to Tuni and Sequoia's house where I stayed with the girls while the Peeps went to brunch. Shesh Mum is still talkings about the buffet breakfast at the restaurant. I told Mum we have heard enough already but she came back with..... "hey you always talk about Tuni all the time...... I can talk about the buffet all the time". Mum luved the buffet, she says America does the best buffets.

We then all gots into one vehicle and drove to Seattles.

Here are the pics from the Pug N Brew

Oks so this lady comes over and is all excited cuz her pug is big like me! It got even weirder when she called her pug over to sits for a picture..... his name is also Winston!!!!! and he was tall likes me and weighed the same as me!

Me and Sequoia, she was talking to mes about her luvs Anakins.
She is totally in luvs with the dude!

Fast forward to today where Mum keeps finding all three of us (me and my sisters) sleeping all day long!

Today I is super tireds from the excitements of the weekend. I don't know why Kizzy and Tika are so tireds today. It isn't like they came with us!!

When I gots home I found them on the cat tree looking super guiltys.

They would not looks me in the eye when I asked what they did on the weekends. They just said they did nothing importants.

Whatever it was they are exhausted too. I hopes it is nothing to do with the Sunflower Sisters. The last things I need is them joining that girls club and helping them spy. Hmmm, I better looks into this some more.

What is a Canadian?

Today we were pondering what to posts about when Mum gots an email from a friend. The email contained a definition of "what a Canadian is". This definition was written by an Australian dentist.

So we decided to posts about it. Here is goes.......

An Australian Definition of a Canadian
In case anyone asks you who a Canadian is . . .

You probably missed it in the local news, but there was a report that someone in Pakistan had advertised in a newspaper an offer of a reward to anyone who killed a Canadian - any Canadian..
An Australian dentist wrote the following editorial to help define what a Canadian is, so they would know one when they found one.
A Canadian can be English, or French, or Italian, Irish, German,  Spanish, Polish, Russian or Greek. A Canadian can be Mexican,  African, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Australian, Iranian, Asian, Arab, Pakistani or Afghan.
A Canadian may also be a Cree, M├ętis, Mohawk, Blackfoot, Sioux, or one of the many other tribes known as native Canadians.

We have decided to show you some faces of a Canadian.

These are Canadians

Yous can gets the idea, we are many different cultures and nationalities.

A Canadian's religious beliefs range from Christian, Jewish, Buddhist, Muslim,  Hindu or none.   In fact, there are more Muslims in Canada than in Afghanistan . The key difference is that in Canada they are free to worship as each of them chooses. Whether they have a religion or no religion, each Canadian ultimately answers only to God, not to the government, or to armed thugs claiming to speak for the government and for God.
A Canadian lives in one of the most prosperous lands in the history of the world. The root of that prosperity can be found in the Charter of Rights and Freedoms which recognize the right of each  person to the pursuit of happiness.
A Canadian is generous and Canadians have helped out just about every other nation in the world in their time of need, never asking a thing in return. Canadians welcome the best of everything, the best products, the best books, the best music, the best food, the best services and the best minds.
But they also welcome the least -  the oppressed, the outcast and the rejected.
These are the people who built Canada . You can try to kill a Canadian if you must as other blood-thirsty tyrants in the world have tried but in doing so you could just be killing a relative or a neighbour. This is because Canadians are not a particular people from a particular place.  They are the embodiment of the human spirit of freedom.   Everyone who holds to that spirit, everywhere, can be a Canadian.
'Keep your stick on the ice'

The problem is  this person forgots one thing...... a canadian is also a pug! And to end it all let's see some pictures of a Canadian Pug...... ME.      BOL!

And there yous have its. Several different pics of another Canadian.

Retreat Recap of Chaos

Hi Everypuggy,
Yup I am backs from my weekend retreat at Pug Lake with the boys. It was a great time. Us boys had a big par-tay until somethings happened!

We gots there Friday nights and settled into our cabins. We had a huge campfire then hit the hay. The next day was spent on the lake fishing and swimming and waterskiing. Lots of funs. Then sometime in the afternoon I noticed that Arpel had disappeared! Us boys kept getting the sense we were being watched!

On Saturday evening I heard rustling outside my cabin I was sharing with Anakin. I opened the door and aimed my camera and clicked a picture. Later when I looked at my pictures..... I saw this!

No wonder we felt like we was being watched!!!!! GIRLS!!! See them????
Sequoia, Wilma, Josie pretending to be a chicken!, and look Jane from casbah kitten and my sister..... Kizzy!!!!!!

Hey who is that in the left corner?
Looks like Arpel!
 WHAT!!!! hey wait a minutes....

Look closely at this photo....

If you remove the hat, sunglasses and mustache......

Oh I gets it now.... Arpel! rearrange those letters...... what do you gets?
and this Arpel told me he was from Oklahoma!! That is where Pearl is from.

Well when Sluggo came up to the lake with Murphy and Duke
they managed to gets their paws on this

Unfortunately those girls out smarted us and managed to sneak up to the lake!

See her.... Arpel AKA Pearl in the back with the walkie talkie, and look who is in the helicopter aboves.....

Well after they gots the map back and we chased them outta of the lake area we spent times de-stressing.

I was a bit frazzled when I gots home. I am feeling more calms now but I tell yous...... boys we needs to start planning to gets that map backs. Oh and we need to relocates our clubhouse due to security reasons.....

Any ideas?

The Green Stubby Report - The cat is outta the bag!

Today's topic....... Reusable Bags (Stubby would be prouds!).

Hi everyone, Tika and Kizzy heres. Winston just gots back from his retreat and is resting so we are taking over the blog and doing The Green Stubby Report.

Mum was at the grocery store a while back and found these wonderful bags in the produce aisle.
Tika will talks about these ones.

Tika heres, ok.... The reusable bags are a netting bag with a drawstring to be used for.... produce.

You all know those plastic bags they provide in the produce section, the ones that you pile all your tomatoes, apples, oranges etc. into. Well this bag is meant for that purpose.

Mum was totally thrilled to find these. You gets 3 bags for $2.99. The bags are washable and large enough to hold your produce and yet very lightweight. They are abouts the same size as the plastic ones the store provides. Now when mum shops she takes these bags with her and puts her veggies and fruits into them instead of littering the environment with the plastic.

Here is a close ups of one of the bags

The next item

I will talks about these bags.

Mum found these at Indigo Books (of all places!)

Reusable zip lock bags for packed lunches!
Here I am showing them offs. You get 3 per box.
1 large one and 2 smaller ones.

Mum uses them for her lunch. The big pink one holds her sandwich and the 2 smaller ones hold cut veggies, crackers, snacks.... pretty much anythings.

They are lightweight, washable and they DO keep the food fresh! They are also waterproofs!
They zip close with a zipper. Very cool!

Yup I am liking this product very much, no more plastic zip lock bags for Mum!

Well this review of reusable bags has sure tired us outs!

We gotta go take a naps, well actually we gotta reply to a secret email from Wilma first, then take a naps.

Winston is napping he is seems very exhausted and a bit frazzled from the retreat..... something about girls! Hmmmm.... Hee Hee.

This concludes this months editions of The Green Stubby Report
